sorry if everyone keeps seeing me posting these exhaust question aha. i just want the best for me and my car, I was thinking of getting magnaflow but the videos on youtube sound a little rice to me, SO i started looking into the gt take off true dual kit, is that better, I want a nice sounding vehicle, but not ricey to me, I got 550 to spare for this exhuast, Also what is better oout of the three Gt take offs, Magnaflow , or flowmaster 40 series (where the hell can i get this cant find it anywhere)

just get the gt take off mufflers off craiglist... got mine for 45 bucks. then get some custom pipes done and youll save a bunch of money.

thats what im gonna do, and it shouldnt cost me more than 200 bucks total.

Just call any local muffler shop and see if you can get a quote on how much they will do it for you


Just tell them that you have the GT takeoff mufflers and then ask how much it'll be for them to custom make the piping for it.

do u have x or h pipe?? i think the 40's do have a higher pitch but low end they sound so mean i have 40's with a h and l/t headers and i love the sound im camed so i dont know what a stock motor would sound like but its the best soundin car in my town (my opinion)

I like my true dual gt takeoffs. I got custom straight pipes into those mufflers, sounds awesome. Not annoying but good. Only cost me a little over 100 bucks

i have catted true dual gt takeoffs with an h-pipe. mufflers were 20 bucks a piece and the custom pipe was like 100 or 200

do not get flowmaster 40 series!!!!!!they sound like crap on v6s

dont get flowmaster 40's. get the american thunder (a/t) they sound much better, especially on the s197 v6.

question: will a stock h pipe from a gt bolt directly to my stock headers and then to my magnaflow full catback dual system? It also needs to keep the cats in place, or replace them.
