Default 2006 Mustang battery cable assembly trouble

Hey fellas, I'm having trouble finding the battery cable kit that I need to replace. I believe the owner before me spliced cable together and held it together with a medal crimp, which is causing it to get way to hot and short out killing everything in the car. I need to replace this but the assembly is more complicated than just getting a new positive cable. I could splice a new on on to the same spot but the same thing would just happen again. I really don't trust my dealership to charge me a fair price to do this. So if help can be provided in one of two ways. 1 where can I purchase this cable kit online and any advice on how to replace. 2 how much it should cost for dealership to replace. Thanks
