Default How to aim 2005+ Halo Projector Headlights?

I picked up a pair of used AM's Black Halo Projector headlights. They look cool, I need to change the parking/signal lights to match BUT...

I can' figure out for the life of me how to aim the silly headlights!
Anyone have any suggestions?

These lights make great foglights right now but horrible headlights!

Thanks!

AM's site has the older style headlights that aren't at all like the 2005+ model. I've seen the video. One of this month's Mustang magazines has an article on them as well, but they don't discuss adjusting them.

I really wish AM would update those video's to feature the 2005+ in addition to that older style.

I'm in the middle of dissecting the headlights, I just thought someone had them installed in their 2005+ and could give me some pointers.

Before you put your bumper back on is the best time to aim these. There is a screw on the back that helps with adjusting the brights and the regular beams can be adjusted by moving the whole housing by using the top support. (The one that connects to the frame on the top.)

I ended up wedging some 1/4 hardboard behind them and the problem isn't so much the aiming, they're just not as bright as my SilverStars.

I found a potential solution on StangMod's site. Waiting to hear back from them on whether their kit fits the projectors, since they now sell the projectors WITH the HID's in them for the S197's.

I was about to go buy a new grill with driving lights because I really like the look of the projectors, but I can't see very well with them. Could just be that I'm spoiled after having the SilverStars.
