Default HELP desperate

Hey so I tried to relearn a new STOCK throttle body and TPS by disconnecting the battery and then turning it back on. I read on some other site to remove the the IAC before restarting and then resetting the throttle control if needed... So i was going to do that and my friend, to be kind and helpful..., removed the EGR vaccum sensor instead of the IAC.. I hadnt noticed till after i tried to turn the car back on and got the check engine light and wrench of doom... ive tried resetting the comp by disconnecting the battery again but the wrench wont go away...

Can anyone help?

Im not an expert on your car but every other vehicle Ive had that threw a code had to be cleared by a code reader. It wont go away on its own. Older cars turned off the light if you fixed the problem but the code was still stored till erased. Newer ones with OBD keep the light on.

Yea your going to need to get a scanner to clear the code...though it should go away after you run a drive cycle if everything is operating properly

i got a scanner and the codes p2104 and p2111 come up, but they cant be deleted... the car is also not responding to any gas given to it... it remains at idle just below 1000rpm and every once in awhile it goes up to 1100rpm for like two seconds then dies back down... also, starting requires about 2-3 of holding the key in the start position... =/

Default codes.

I am sure there are many other people on here with better knowledge of this than me. But I Googled the codes to see what came up and got this link. I know it's not a Mustang but it is an F150 and I bet you can search the codes and find out what you need know. So any way here in a link to the very first thing I found. If I find out more I'll post it.

Ford F150 A little help please...DTCs P2104 and P2111

There is a sticky with codes at the top of the forum no need to "google"
P2104 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Idle
P2111 Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Open

Did you clean the throttle body? You might try that.
You said new throttle body... why a new throttle body?
Was there a problem with the old one? Were you trying to modify it?

Need more info to help

Ok, so i fixed the problem...
the reason i was swapping the TB to begin was i was replacing the TPS and one of the screws that holds it, broke flush with the TB... I tried various ways of extracting it but had no luck, so I called my friend who had his stock TB that he had taken out of his car (05 v6) way back when (it had less thank 10k miles) I fitted it to my car and it worked up until I tried to relearn it to get rid of my idle issues and the wrong sensor got disconnected...

to fix it, i cleaned my old TB and put it back in with the new TPS and basically help it on with one screw just to try it out... obviously it had to end up working with my luck... so to get past the only 1 screw issue i used silicone glue around the edge of the TPS to hold it together. check engine and wrench light are all gone and my car is running better than ever... i know the silicone glue is a cheap fix but im just going to save up and get a BBK and replace everything then once again.

Thanks everyone for the attempt to help, i really appreciate it. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif
