Default Leather Seat Swap 06v6 to GT HELP

I have 06 mustang with the leather seats and I just got a great deal on some GT leather seats from an 07.
The problem I'm having is that the air bag harness on the GT seat does not plug into the air bag harness on the 07 seats.
The odd thing is the driver side seat plugs in just fine.
I talked to the dealer and he said to pull the harness from the 06 seat and it should work. I'm worried that it might make the air bag go off.
Has anyone done this swap before and will it be ok to swap the harness????

Will that really matter? If I plug in the harness with the battery disconnected then reconnect the battery wouldn't it be the same thing?
Are you suggesting this because of the computer?
I guess in confused on how this will solve my problem.

whenever you do any work to the car, the shop manual will say disconnect the battery. if the battery is unhooked, you cant accidentally set off the airbags. its for your safety while your messing around. as far as hooking it up, i dont know what to tell you. if the plugs are diff, your gonna need the matching wire harness to make it functional. i installed takeoff gt leather but i dont have side airbags.

Default Update

The harness from my 06 stang does work on the 08 GT seats with one slight mod.
The there is on connection on the consol side of the passanger seat where the harness wires do not line up, unless you shave off the lip on the female connector on the harness. After you shave of the plastic lip it plugs in an locks.
FYI just make sure the wire colors are in line with each other.
I did disconnect the battery while working and everything was fine when I reconnected.

Just make sure you get the harness from your old seats so that you will be able to plug and play with the new ones.
