I have a 2007 v-6 pony package mustang. I have a silly question, I really don't know much about cars but I do know my car sounds diffrent. It is making a humming noise, transmission fluid is fine, oil is fine, I am not sure if the factory alternator is fading. have had the car new off the lot!

Welcome to AFM! can you tell where the humming noise is coming from?

when you start it, idling, turn the steering wheel back and forth and see if that effects the noise. poss power steering pump btw, welcome to the v6tech forum

it is just above the idling, no the power sterring pump is fine, i am told it has something to with high iding setting something about the engine intake, all I know it did not do it before and drives me nutts, after a bit it does goes away, and thank you all for the welcome. I do love my car! I had a 66 when i was younger and we have a 69 that is a project car
