You would gain zero hp. They are snake oil. There are no benefits of adding an intake spacer on a electronic fuel injected engine.

Noooooooooooope.

You won't see much, if anything, of a difference from stock.

If you were to install one, I think you'd need to remove the stock throttle body completely from the intake manifold.

Hi, and wecome to the forums.

The spacers are not worth a dime, same as aftermarket throttle bodies. If you were to get one, the install would be simple. You just remove the throttle body by removing four bolts and screw it in.

I have one. It does nothing, except dress up the engine bay. Also my cold air intake whistles when I accelerate, I guess that's a good thing.

lol 05horse

but yeah don't mess with the throttle body spacer hp wise....i guess maybe if you want a whistle??

o and don't feel stupid, i remember my first post said i was going to get a throttle body, throttle body spacer and a glasspack muffler.....my my my how I have learned so much!!

Just search around on this forum, it may take a while to figure things out (which is why newbies post redundant threads) but it's worth it. Good luck and listen to most of the people, alot of them know a lot

I have a spacer on mine. It was'nt that hard to put on or take off. You may have to make a gasket for the side that mates with the throttle body. The other gasket should stay in the plastic intake manifold.Just put your spacer on quality gasket material and trace the spacer and mounting holes , then cut it out. DON'T OVER TIGHTEN BOLTS. It does create a "whisle" sound upon acceleration. As far as horespower gains,I have seen none. The theroy comes from the "high rise" intake manifold, more air in mixture.
