Good to hear Steve, and I checked out your Stang, Nice Looking Ride! I could have bought a used GT for less money than the 07 I got new, but I wanted a new one, never touched or beat on. Plus the Insurance was more too and I bought my Wife a new car plus I have 3 Ford Trucks and it's just the 2 of us, so mabey down the road I'll get a GT, but I am still kicking myself for not getting a 07 GT insted of the 4.0 Pony as I did like the looks of them in 07 and now the 2010's dont really appeal to me in the rear, lights and bumper. But that may change with time. As I am a Ford Lover and especially Mustangs.
Thank's Again!

Rockin, I have used 93 octane since I bought my car, do I need the extra octane that I have been using, does it matter? or is my computer now just set for regular gas, 87 octane? I did'nt think the extra octane would matter, I just thought it would be better for the engine and preformance. And what's PM me mean, Im new to these forums and My Daughter does this to me all the time to and Im just finally catching on to all her slang. So we dont have to do all this on the forum and I need some advice I'll get you my e-mail address and save everyone from all my babbling.
Ron
Ron, PM =( Private message ) Your car will run great on 87 octane it is made for that just like mine,93 octane is good however without a tune buying 93 your might be just wasting some money, it wont hurt but your not going to get the full effect with out a tune

Hi Steve
That's kinda what I thought about the 93 Octane. Well I told My Wife about the Tunes and she said she's gonna get them for me for Christmas, what a Wife! Now I can wait!
So what will I get with them? and I can do the tune myself right? Well it looks like our Weather is'nt going to co-operate so My Mustang is gonna stay in the Garage till Spring. Anyway the Factories said we can start picking our Grapes this comming Thursday so my time will be all in that.
Also in another Forum on here someone mentioned putting a (Cherry Bomb Muffler) on there Mustang and the sound was great, any thoughts on this. I want a better sound out of mine but I dont want to change to dulas and have to cut my rear bumper to do it. Is there a Muffler you'd recommended?
Thank's
Ron

Hey Ron, Make sure you get the CAI/tuner package ( Cold Air Intake of your choice and the SCT X3 handheld tuner for the custom tunes ) the online tuners are Breenspped which is good, Tillmans or Bama chips, they will ask about the mods on your car , auto or manual and processor code which is on your fuse box, then also the octane in your area for the 3 custom tunes your will get, you will need to install the CAI then you can install the tune you want, make sure you only use the correct octane in your car for each tune 87 for 87 and 93 for 93 ect , empty you tank as far down as you can go if you change tunes making sure you have the correct octune for the tune your installing I had installed the 87 performace tune and then ran my car to empty and filled up with 91 so I could install my 91 race tune, Brenspeed has a video you can watch online shows how to install the tune its real easy , As far as the exhaust goes I have axel back Flowmasters and they sound real good especially with the 91 tune , I would do a search on here for exhaust and maybe GT take off bumper instead of cutting yours, there are many choices and favorites for the members here it might help you choosing one, have fun modding sound like your have the bug, we all have it!

I'll do that Steve,
Well on Tuesday we had a decent day and it was'nt raining so I got the Oil changed in my Mustang, I used Mobil 1 as always, and this is the 5th Oil Change and the car now has 6,203 miles on her. A little overboard huh? Well from now on Im gonna just change it everytime I put her away for the Winter, then again when I get her out around May. So the way I put miles on the car it will be about every 1,000 miles.
It looks like she's gonna stay in the Barn as our Weather is going down the tubes and Snow's in the forcast for the weekend! My Barn used to be a Small House, it was replaced with the House I now live in so it's pretty cool, it has gas, electric and water, so the car has a home of her own.
It looks like I wont be able to try out My new Tunes untill the Spring. Also what was the set-up you were telling me about the (exhaust) where I (did'nt) have to cut the rear bumper to install dual's? Would they be full true duals or would they split from a single pipe into two? or would that be up to me to decide? I dont want to change anything from stock, Im just looking for bolt on replacemants and keep the cars original looks.
Have a Good One and I'll talk to you soon.
Ron

Ron, On the dual exhaust for V6 and GT take off bumper do a search for those subjects here on AFM and it can give you information and pictures of what the other members have done to their cars and will give you ideas you are looking for. When you do get your CIA and tune you will experience alot more fun driving , good luck, talk to you later

Steve, anoter question about the tunes, how long will the system last? Does it come with a warranty? And if I dont reply right away Im Picking Grapes and Im working 12 Hr Days But I;ll get back to you as soon as I can. Again, thank's for the advice and I'll do some research on the duals.
Ron
Ron, The tune is flashed into the car's computer program ,change will occur when you re-flash back to stock or re-flash another tune , it will never change unless you change it. Your tune will last as long as your cars computer lasts whether you had a tune or not. I dont think there is a warranty you might have to check with the tuner you use ( because you are changing your cars computer system program probley no warranty ) JMO
