Default Tire Question (Yes another)

Hey guys just wanted your opinions on this. Its time I buy new tires and I was wanting new rims aswell. Im pretty sure ive set on some Anthracite Bullitt rims. Right now my stock tires are 215/65R16 with 16 inch rims but the new rims are 17 inch rims and I dont want my speedometer being off. . Ive checked the recommended tire sizes against multiple tire calculators and it looks like the recommended tires for these rims wont mess up my speedometer more than a tiny percent. So my question is what should I go with for just Daily in town driving?
Theres the 17x8 rim that recommends 235/55-17 which throws my speedo off 0.6% or ive seen a 17x9 which recommends 255/50-17 that only throws off the speedo 0.01% which neither is that bad of a difference imo. I was worried if I put 17x9 would the front wheels still have enough room without rubbing on turns? Where would I be on a handling vs confort scale for each tire? Im looking at the standard rims not the deep dish if that makes any difference and everything is at stock settings. Thanks so much guys!

for the 17x9 up front you need to keep the back spacing as close as the original as possible to reduce the rubbing on the inner fender well. also keep in mind that the higher the overall tire diameter the greater the changes of rubbing. so keep the back spacing and the overall tire diameter as close as the original and you will be fine.

handling vs confort is a relative answer. when ever you reduce the height of the side wall of a tire (or the aspect ratio) the performance characteristic goes up but the confort suffers as there is less rubber material between the pavement and the wheel. you will experience a stiffer ride with low profile tires but you gain in the performance side. also appearance is another factor you need to consider. low profile tires increases the gap between the fender and the top of the tire. this is compensated with the taller wheel but still it changes the look.

heres a calculator you can use. put in the stock size in box 1, try different sizes in box 2 and it will compare them
