TBS do wonders for trucks (ie wonders=5 hp max) and maybe the ricer down the street who cant afford turbo, but i wont get a TBS till i see a professional mustang driver swear by one.
A mechanic i know very well. (orange county sand cars) says that they will give you 2-3 horsepower in the 2700-2900 range or so and everywhere else the increase in air mass doesn't help the engine run better so if your really worried about your car running better in a range of 200 RPMs that you will not notice guaranteed, (and like the cool little whistle) then go for it. other wise buy shorty headers as mentioned before off ebay, because the sound of those will intimidate more people than the sound of a TBS.

A majority of people here say no on the spacer, myself included.Do ya think they might know something???
Use that money for the gear install, that way if it has any problems you can take it back,,,do it yourself,,,blame yourself. Gears are /were out of my comfort zone
a transmission swap is coming up next for me just as soon as i can find a t-5. the only thing that's out of my comfort zone is cams or any other internals.
