Default Question about aftermarket stereo system

(disclaimer: when it comes to car audio i have absolutely no idea what i'm talking about..)

..so the interior of my limer is pretty bland, all charcoal with chrome trim around gauges and a/c vents only. i'm thinking of putting in an aftermarket stereo mostly for looks as im pretty happy with the sound of the factory system.
now..at night when i turn the instrument lights on, they're all green. i found a black JVC stereo which also emits green at night..just wanna keep everything uniform. anyway, my question is that will i be able to hook up this piece to the existing speakers or do i need to purchase compatible speakers or something like that? i dont want to put in a big subwoofer or anything, i like the engine sound better than any rap song. i'm actually just doing it so that centre doesn't look so boring.

what's the procedure here if i want to go get it within the next hour and have it installed within a day or 2?

(stupid question? please refer to above stated disclaimer)

you dont have to buy anything else just the head unit you want and possibly a special connector but I take it that you wont be doing the install yourself so the shop that you will take it 2 should have what you need.

You will need an install kit (mounting bracket) for your dash. I got one with a shelf/compartment under the radio. The extra storage space is nice.
