Do either of you have a sound clip of the exhaust?
Since mine will be exactly the same setup I can hear what it will sound like.

Thanks

sound clips on the comp never do any justice to how sick they sound in person

if i were you get the x pipe made and go with straight pipes back from there on the v6, when its cold it shakes things "your garage cars next to you" when it gets warm its still decently loud but really starts to drown out. but when its warm at WOT throttle it sounds amazing. Cold at 3K+ rpm sounds like complete **** almost makes me not want to move my car for 5 minutes lol just to let it warm up. But the best thing ever is About half way warm, find a real good long enclosed tunnel and completely mash it all the way through thats the best sound youl ever hear in your life

Thanks for the tip. I am going tomorrow so hopefully they can install it yet this week.
I am glad I am in Phoenix so I wont have to worry about taking very long to warm up! and I drive through a tunnel often so I will have to try that.

Oh and Madmail...

How do you like your Steeda CAI? I am getting one soon and planning on getting the JLT but have been curious about the Steeda. It's a little more money but not a lot.

all cold air intakes do the same thing. unless it's plastic and then an argument can be made.

just get the cheapest one you can.

i love my CAI, im into the shake and rumble sorta car, and the CAI is actually pretty loud you can hear it pulling in air like crazy and i could defeintly feel a HUGE difference with the tune and cai in throttle response and power

i wouldnt waste money on any cai that didnt require a tune to run it. heres the gt muffs when new. now i have about 20k on them and they are a little louder and sound even better. agreed, vids sound like crap online. this sounds really bad on my laptop but great at home on the desktop speakers. i like the jlt cai

Thanks everyone! I got it done yesterday. I ended up going with 3" pipes. Took them 10 hrs. Glad we agreed to a price before hand. wow. Sounds good but a lot of vibration. I think they didn't put enough hangers. only put them back by the mufflers.

thats all there is on these cars. there are 2 hangers at the y pipe and then the hangers on the mufflers. check the system out for clearance issues. the over axle pipes, too close to the differential, under body, gas tank, the mufflers too close to the bumper, frame ect. shouldnt have too much vibration.

i'll take a look at that. I think its to close to something around the axle. hit a bump and could feel a thud with loud noise. I'm going to take it in Saturday. I may regret the 3" pipes at this rate.
