Hi, I have a 2008 v6 mustang. I just had a grat deal on the swaybars from a gt500 Front and Back. I put them on and they are great but when I make a right turn or the car jumps on a bump i hear a noise like if metal to metal is touching. like a clap noise. Can you guys help please. I got the screws from a hardware store. I don't have the originals from ford. What can I do for the noise to go away?

buy the ford ones, at least the bolts. you really do need them.

sounds like something is loose and not tightened down good. is the noise in the frt or rear? i dont have the ford bolts and mine has been fine on 2 cars. the frt link bolts can be hard to get tight and the rear needs to be centered. check your shock bolts.

Thank you all for the info. I will try to see if the bolts are loose and if not then I will get the bolts from ford. Does anyone knows where I can get them a little cheaper then the dealer?

The noise if from the front left and rear left.

i`m not sure about the difference from a gt 500 sway, are you running 16" and is there any chance its hitting inside the rims when the car bounces? is the large top link bolt tight at the frame?
on the frt, check the 4 frt nuts, check the end link nuts, the top strut bearing nuts, and the top strut nut( you have to hold the center stud with i think a 10mm)..i had a rattle up frt and it was the strut bearing at the top. i replaced them both with the struts. i had another rattle and the strut nut had come loose. no more rattles.
