Default tire

oh man, the sky is the limit for this topic.

first I'd set up the criteria - what you want to achieved ie new or used, life span, looks, speed, performance level, comfort level etc. next I suggest login on to tire rack or any other on line tire/wheel retailer and checking out what is currently available. I'd then set up a budget and then go shopping. sometimes ebay got some good deals

there are so many combos out there is hard to decide.. setting up the criteria is the most impt thing.

all depends on what you like and where your budget is. bullits are great. if you're willing to spend a few extra dollars look into the carrol shelby wheel line. there's some good looking stuff in that. as far as size goes - 17's 18's and 20's. whatever you want. 17 tires will be cheapest and 20's and 18's are about the same. the reason i left out 19's is because tires are a good 300-400 a piece for them. just not worth it. pm me if you have anymore questions.

Default Be carefull!!!!!

BE CAREFULL!!!!!!!!

Ok i have a 05 v6 mustang. about 6 months ago i got 20 in rims put on. 9 in wide on the front and 10.5 in wide in the back. the front tires are about to BLOW! the reason is the the 9 in wide tires rub against the inside of the wheel well everytime i turn. the inside edge of the tire has rubbed past the rubber and now the wire frame of the tire is exposed on both of my front tires. the doosy about this is that the center of the tire has so much rubber on it that when i get new ones it is going to be a waste because the middle of the tire was perfectly good but the inside edge is gone. so watch out for that!

found this website a while back, great for seeing what you'll get, sort of....

Wheel / tire size calculator / comparer - WHEELSMASTER

just load the stock info on the left, and what you are thinking about on the right.
