Question Question about H pipe!

Im getting really frustrated with trying to switch the GT takeoffs with the American Thunders or Borla Stingers.... Here is why ok I got the whole take off GT exhaust sent to the place that installed them for me so I didn't see what all came with it. I am pretty sure the GT comes with X pipe right?? well with the new exhaust I am planning on getting I want an H pipe but I can't find any that aren't off road and I don't even know what the difference between offroad H pipe and H pipe sorry for being dumb I am new to all this still. Now does anyone know where to get a high quality H pipe that I can use with my V6 because everyone I have found uses longtube headers and they don't make those for the V6 or am I wrong about that? Also what else am I going to need? Keep in mind I have the GT takeoffs already installed..... thanks

H pipe comes on S197 gt's too if you want a raspier sound go with a x-pipe and if you more of a low wub wub old muscle car sound stick with the h-pipe

I'm somewhat new myself and the advices I've got for my 67 Mustang is that H-pipe is good for low rpm torque. Mainly used with Tri-Y headers. I was asking about buying the H-pipe premade but one guy made a point that having the muffler shop do it. Basically having 2 pipes with one in the middle connecting both of the pipes. Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for.

Ok so is the H pipe installed on my car because I have also heard that talk about Ypipe(I seen a pic of it and it was just one pipe that split into 2)?? whats that for lol I'm really sorry I know its dumb. Idk what I really have going on under there because they had all the stuff at the shop and I just paid the money lol but if I have the H pipe and all the stuff installed all they will need to do is swap my mufflers with the new mufflers that I buy??

the y pipe isnt true duals it just turns it into dual at the end where it splits. and the difference between O/R hpipe and a regular hpipe is that off road means no cats and is not smog legal. but they do make long tubes for a v6 but i mean your risking your smog if you go that route. i have a friend that can tell you everything you need to know about a v6. he built a 200whp v6 that was pretty mean and it was all motor. just pm me and ill tell ya how to get a hold of him and he can hook ya up

Im trying to stay legal with this I already get messed with being pretty young and looking even younger in my car so I should probably stay with regular h pipe and will I need to long tubes with the new mufflers?? or will the GT stuff work just swaping out the mufflers??

the h pipe should work with the stock mufflers but you might have to do some welding depending weather if it has like the bowl mouth tip or not. but you should be able to do some shorties with a catted h pipe and your stock mufflers
