Default 93 octane economy?

Finally I bought a C&L and a SCT combo,the quetion is,they asked me for a 93 economy or a 93 performance.....I think depend on the quality of the gas,right?
I have Racetrac close to home and normally i go there....i thought is 93 economy for that....or is a tune that instead of performance give me more fuel economy?
I'm confused!!!!!
If now i have a tune that i don't like.....how can i have a 93 performance tune?
HEEEEEELLLPP!!!!!!

Has nothing to do with fuel quality. One tune is written for better mileage and the other for better performance. Both can run on the same fuel.

I never understood having a performance and economy tune. I tune both at the same time. Low throttle position is economy, heavy throttle is performance. Its how it should be setup. Here is some info on flashing tunes.
