If you have to ask this question as many times as you have... you probably shouldn't touch your car till it's out of warranty.

A professional tune will not harm your car. If you play with the tune parameters you could cause problems. If you return your car to stock and not complete the drive cycle, the dealer can tell the PCM has been reset. All you have to say is you left the lights on and the battery went dead. Or that the battery was low so you disconnected and charged it.

heck ya, with the increased throttle response and the feeling of more power at w.o.t., there will be a uncontrollable feeling to lay into the gas pedal all the time, causing excessive engine wear not to mention tires and increased maintenance. this condition will also cause your mileage to go from 25 down to 20, but because of the new addiction, you wont care. you might find yourself driving crazy or wanting to race people, followed up by a couple tickets, your insurance rates will skyrocket and your life will begin to crumble.

+1 on that summary of "life after a tuner," hahaha - VERY true!

There are risks with any mods. I would say a tuner from a respectable dealer is going to be very low risk.
