They are a pretty time consuming job on the V8. I would think the V6 would be somewhat easier. I took my time when I did mine, a couple of hours each day over the course of a week. I just took time to remove items that got in the way instead of fighting it (starter, motor mounts, etc). If you take your time, I don't think it will be all that bad. I did mine off jack stands, but if you have access to a lift it would help also.
