So I just got a brand new 2010 Mustang, everything is stock, even got the Manual Transmission (of course I view that as an upgrade :P )
So Im looking at exhaust and Im a complete and utter noob when it comes to exhaust systems. So Ive started looking and it seems info for the V6 with the single exhaust is somewhat limited, which I sort of expected.
Im wondering what my options are taking in consideration a fairly low budget and trying not to completely mess with the warranty.
Basically, I am looking for sound, throatier, deeper, powerful, aggressive sound. Any performance increases is a definite plus but not my main goal.
Im also considering dual exhaust sytems, and wondering if I can just replace the lower plastic bumper cover for a GT one to run the dual exhaust, and if so where I can get one of those for cheap.
I strongly suggest you go duals. It looks better, and sounds WAY better. Not 100% positive but I don't think you can/should cut your 2010 v6 bumper, you will have to buy a GT bumper. Then buy a set of axlebacks for a GT and take em to a shop and have them custom make you an h pipe and have em hang the axlebacks too. PM me if you have anymore questions, I can help you out

With the new 2010 style, I believe the black trim come apart from the main part of the bumper. So I believe you can just order a Gt trim and put it on the your bumper, mite be held together with some simple black fastners. look under your car, if so ford may not want to much for just that piece.

Stock for now. Two GT take off muffler, connected to a GT H-pipe.Upgrade instrument cluster. Shorty antenna. GT rear bumper. GT side skirts. GT front and rear sway bars. So many GT parts, and still a V6 engine. Damn. 18 inch Deep Dish Black rims, with polish lip. 255 front, 275 rear, soon changed to 285.

with a very limited supply of takeoff parts for the 2010 as of yet, good luck and it wont be cheap. i would imagine in another year there will be more parts available. i havent looked close at a 10 bumper to see if it can be cut like the 05-09. check newtakeoff.com........
