I got a stock mustang v6 manual, Only things I have done to it is appearance, like the halo lights, sequential tail lights, new rims and tires, pioneer radio, and custom sub box in trunk. Now I want power! So I been looking into cat back exhausts, short shifters, brakes, lowering kits, cold air intakes, super chargers, etc. I want to put a supercharger (but should I wait on an intake if they come with a supercharger kit) also do I need to change gears? Basically I want to know to put a supercharger on my V6 what will I need and where can I find it for more bang for my buck. I want a supercharger, lowering kit, daul cat back exhaust, gears, and brakes. Well maybe someone can give me a rundown of some things I might need to know or what options I have, I know common automotives........please help!
i would do a turbo over a supercharger on a v6 and plus to do that your going to need bigger heads, fuel pump, injectors, upper and lower intake, throttle body, free flowing exhaust. it just takes alot of work to jump up that high....for quick power and a noticable difference. i would go with gears, intake and exhaust. you will feel a big difference with just those 3 and i promise you that

Alright so basically, start off small, exhaust h -pipe duals, intake/tuner, spark plugs/wires, gears. I heard a lot about a vortech supercharger that wont go to big on psi boost, anyone got ideas on that? I heard it will hook almost stock as long as you dont go above 8-10 psi?
i dont know to much about superchargers on a v6, i know people with turbos on there v6 that will walk on cobras. but i mean the only company that i know that has a pretty tiny supercharger that will bolt up to a stock moter is powerdyne. but im going off what i know for the 99-04 3.8 mustangs. it wouldnt hurt to do some research but i know they have a forum its like 3.8.com or something like that but those guys on there know there v6 mustangs if you wanted to check them out

Sounds good, originally I wanted a turbo, but I heard people say they don't know if the engine can handle the turbo.... I mean I'm still paying on it and has a limited warranty so I kind of don't want to blow the engine, but right now im feeling dangerous and wanna go fast!
The Xcharger would be something to look at. With low boost, a SC or Turbo will work. Just keep it low and a Tune will be key to keeping your engine fat and happy. Also if you do mods, the best and first mod should be gears and a Tlock, 3.73's would be pretty good. Then CAI and i like JLT also.
Some NGK copper plugs will work great.

Thanks guys, appreciate the help, also how hard is it to put the Tlock and gears in? I heard the gears are not too bad themselves but the Tlock is that tough?
i just have to say for the short shifter check out mgw put it into google. they make amazing short shifters probably the best design i have ever seen. you can reduce the the throw up to 50%!!!! its a little more than the hurst but i prefer it alot more just check it out and they also have videos of it as well.
