Default New bamachips tune!!!

So I just got my SCT X3 tuner, and I have been emailing Doug (really cool guy btw) and asking him about options I can have. I wasn't going for the 91 octane tune, since I'm spoiled from paying for 87.... so he's going to give me an 87 performance tune ! I don't know what this will do, but if you guys got any thoughts or ideas please share. What is the power gain with my bolt ons? (if its too low, maybe I'll go with the 89....) Manual tranny btw. Mods below.

You should easily pick up another 10-12 rwhp by adding the tune to your existing intake.

hmm after reading... another post (dumb... i should have looked and done more research) the torque tune adds more to lower end. So maybe I'll go with an 89 torque tune instead. Um I've just been emailing doug, but nothing is final until I go to the site and actually fill out the form and purchase it right ??

I originally thought you had to contact doug and have him write you one... but it looks like he only gives you suggestions of what he can do. So I THINK and I stress the word THINK, that once he gives you the knowledge you need/want, you go to the "Single tune" ($50) on the buy screen, and then fill out all the info on the page, and at the end you select the type of tune you want... he's got a lot. But since he responded this afternoon, and I had no done my research correctly yet I responded that I wanted an 87 performance tune... I think after reading the 89 torque tune would better suit my needs

If you have an automatic, get the 91 race tune. It has a killer shift program.

I'm in between the Bamachip 91 race and Torque tune... I want off the line speed so the Torque looks better since its lower RPM range... Oh guys, typically how long does it take for them to Email you your custom tune? (from the day you purchase it?) Are we talkin 2 days? a week? what?

If you have a SCT tuner it will download your stock tune and store it automatically when you upload the Bama tune.
