Default TCI Torque Converter

So I have been considering getting the torque converter by TCI.
It talks about 1500 RPM stall increase over stock...

Now I'm not all that mechanically inclined...so does that mean it pushes my redline back by 1500?

it means its gonna rev to 1500 more rpms before the converter engages. it has nothing to do with your red line, which is over all recommended limit rpm of the motor.

I was thinking something along those lines but I wasn't sure..
But with no major power adders, it really wouldn't be worth my time right now.
