I was originally thinking about the 91/94 octane race tune from Bamachips.
I visited Steeda Canada's dyno shop today and the owner told me that I have the option of installing the Steeda CAI and getting a custom dyno tune with the SCT Xcal 3. He said he can create the optimal output tune incorporating the upcoming 4.10 gear install as well.
These guys have been installing and tuning Kenne Bells on GT's for a while and are currently building a 347 stroker, I saw that thing, its gonna be beautiful once its done. So, they definitely know what they're doing. The boss Pat sat down with me and wrote down what I was looking for, and he gave me grand totals for every part+labour, very reasonable..and said that the custom tunes will be free when I get the SCT tuner.
Do you guys think it will be better to get a tune thats specific to MY car or just go with the Bamachips tune? I don't know if in house tuning makes a difference or if it is better, so i ask..
Money isn't the issue..my question is strictly about quality and power gains.
