unless you're planning on shopping for a new engine soon, make sure that stuff has a window switch so it doesn't get touched above 2000 or 2500 rpms (can't remember), doesn't get touched in first gear, no bigger than 75 jets (and even then that's kind of pushing it, if it were me i would stick the 55's on), and gets used responsibly (not stomping on it all the time. but to answer your question i think you do need a tune

I Am Not Sure If You Do Or Not But Either Way You Need Something That Will Retard Your Timeing When You Hit The Spray......As For A Window Switch I Would Go With A 3000rpm just to be safe, its not like you have a cast manifold that will put up with a backfire Unfortuanatly, If You Did get One our Manifold Would Shatter In A Billion Pieces and really overhaul your motor......I Am A Huge fan Of Spray But I Wouldnt Put It On a daily Driver....Not That Its Not Safe...Just Do Your Homework And take Your Time Doing It So You Only Do It Once.
