Not surprising that my refund has not been processed after five days getting an e-mail saying my account would be credited. I turned it over to my credit card company. I put the item in dispute. WCPP will be contacted by my credit card company about the charge. I figured I might get the credit sooner this way than with their "sorry for the inconvience" e-mails.

Just wondering if anyone who ordered the grille from late November on has received it.

SOrry that you are going through the same things, dtw. Is Lisa giving you the "I processed it. I dont know what happened. I will call my CC company." line?

I ordered mine the third week of October and finally got it the day after thanksgiving, after many emails requesting status.

I didn't give her a chance to send one of her meaningless e-mails. In my order cancellation I stated that if I didn't see a credit in three days I would put the charge in dispute with my credit card company. I did and now she will have to answer to them.

I did use the money for some other mods - guess I am confident that I will eventually get a credit. I got the tube for my MMR mass air flow filter, the new MGW e-barke handle cover and oil filler cap. The MGW stuff is absolutely beautiful and I consider a bargain when compared to other chrome items. They use the same people that do the chrome work for Harley Davis and it is a triple chrome plate. Oh and got the Midwest Auto plenum cover. Think I spent more than what the grille was going to be. Oh well, guess I can consider it "Lisa" therapy.

I need to post some pics because I have all the MGW items and have done some other engine dress up things.

I ordered my conversion kit on november 15th and my credit card was charged on november 17th. I received an email saying I would be contacted with the shipping information. Two months later and I received nothing. I started sending emails and voice messages to no avail. I have contacted my credit card company and they are going to place it in dispute.

I am really disappointed as I was really looking forward to this item.

I recently ordered this product as well, and am starting to think it may have been a mistake. So, since this seems to be the case has anyone found a comparible product that does not require cutting etc? Something with the same benifits to install and equipment/price point???

If anyone out there has used a competing product could give some links etc and express their experiences that would be great. I for one, would love to do this mod, and any suggestions, testimonials would be helpful.

Anyone here know Charlie, and can talk to him? He needs to know what is being done to his companys reputation by a lazy account manager with no care about customer service.

Since he's the one who started this thread, those of you who aren't happy should PM him, although it's hard to believe he isn't seeing all these posts.

I think I may have good news at least from my account. I sent an email to them today, asking for an estimated ship date, and was pleasantly supprised by a reply withen 30 mins stating that my order would ship next week, and that she (lisa) would send me an email confirmation as well.

Hopefully this is true, and that they are getting things straightened out, I do hope that it was just a fluke, and they went through a short time period that they were having problems and everything is good now.

We will see... I will update as I learn more, as if my experience is good, I will be sure to share that with everyone... so far so good...

I hope what you were told is true but I got the same kind of replies. Once even with an exact ship date and "I'll e-mail you...".

Also, I sent a PM to Charlie but never received a reply. Now I am waiting for the outcome of the disputed charge I placed with my credit card company.

There's a guy in Florida who sells Ford parts on e-bay that I contacted and he can supply all the parts necessary for the Pony grille for around $385. Only problem is no instructions and you probably would have to do some splicing with the wiring harness. If anyone is interested I'll try to find his E-bay user ID. Or try a search on 06 Mustang Grille - he regualr lists the Pont grille for around $79.

Dont get your hopes up. This is normal to receive. It is abnormal for them to deliver on what they are saying. I would take anything Lisa says with a grain of salt.

On December 19, 2005, I ordered this grille conversion. On December 22, 2005 you charged my credit card for this purchase.

I have sent your company several emails requesting a status update on this order with no replies.

It has now been over a month since you charged my credit card with no product shipped or email answered. Basically, I am paying interest on money you are earning interest on without my permission. Pretty sure this is illegal!

I intend to contact the BBB as well as the states attorney general in your area regarding this. In the meantime, I have created the following web page and submitted it to all major search engines. Within the next few weeks, potential customers will likely find this page the same time they find yours.

http://www.macesoftware.com/west_coa...nce_parts.html

To make this go away and to avoid me contacting the BBB and states attorney, you have until February 3, 2006 to either ship my grille or refund my purchase plus an additional $6.44 to cover interest paid.

Order: yhst-70599251821430-546

Ball is in your court Chuck and/or Lisa!

Hmm... I was really considering purchasing a grill kit from this company but with all of these stories, I'm thinking it might not be a good idea. Make sure to post follow ups on these forums if things get sorted out! I'd really like to purchase one of these kits.

Also, has anyone purchased a GT Grill Kit and had it installed? If so, I'd love to see photos!

Just sent an e-mail also giving them till Friday before I file with the BBB.
It may take some time but if enough people file complaints with the BBB that have not received a credit or the merchandise, the BBB may initiate legal action against WCP Parts for fraud.

I also started the disputed charge process with my credit card company. My understanding is that they will send me a form and upon return of the form they will go to WCP parts' bank, get the money and issue me a credit.
They do not fool with the merchant.

I am still hopeful that they make good on the sale as I really would like this pony grille, but I am sure there must be other places to get this.

This is a classic case where the internet is both good and bad. It is bad as it makes it easy for unscrupulous vendors to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. It is good because savvy customers can take action and share info easier to make it very difficult for these types to continue business. Hopefully others will follow suit and contact the BBB as well as their CC companies. Another avenue I will likely pursue should I not get my grille shipped by the 3rd is to contact Yahoo who they use to process their sales. I suspect Yahoo may frown on their business partners using their business service in this manner.

FWIW, here is the link to file a complain with Yahoo! Shopping who West Coast Performance Parts uses for online sales. Maybe they can put pressure on these folks to start taking care of business. It isn't easy setting up new store fronts and I suspect they may take a warning from Yahoo a bit serious.

http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/shop/cgi_merchant

What a shame we have to do this crap. All they had to do was communicate a little and be honest with their customers...

I have yet to see this grille offered anywhere else with the small fog lights, which makes it that much worse for those that want it.
