I contacted this guy when I started thinking about this grille. He replied in about a day with a price for everything aroung $385 - all Ford parts. He said he did not have instructions but would help all he could with installation. He has a very impressive E-bay feedback score.

In case my copied link doesn't work do a search for 2006 Mustang Grille. He has the 2006 Pony Grille (grille only) for $79.00.

I have the DVD and would be willing to share it with those who want it. Just cover my costs to reproduce.

That's all well and good but by the time you add the wiring harness (if you can find it), foglights and switch you'll have spent close to what WCP charges. I was lucky and got my grill early on and until I started seeing all these complaints. was a big supporter of WCP. I really hate this because they had a good thing going, good product, support, delivery, etc. For what it's worth, I think their reputation will suffer because of what's being said in this and other Mustang Forums. I'm in Sales and I can tell you first hand that word of mouth can make you rich or put you in the poorhouse.

Yeah, me either. These folks had a great opportunity to have a lot of business from the many who would want this product. Why they would risk that chance by not simply providing a little honest communications is beyond me. I have been doing business on the internet since the early 90's and it is amazing how far honest communication can go to keep customers happy even when things go wrong. I just don't get it.

The cost of around $385.00 included the switch, fog light bulbs, hardware and I am pretty sure a wiring harness. Plus he said all the parts he would provide were Ford parts. But I do think it was the 06 wiring harness and some splicing would have to be done. If I hadn't already respent the WCP Parts money I would be willing to give this guy a try for the Pony Grille. I think he is worth contacting if you want this grille.

This is a classic case where the internet is both good and bad. It is bad as it makes it easy for unscrupulous vendors to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. It is good because savvy customers can take action and share info easier to make it very difficult for these types to continue business. Hopefully others will follow suit and contact the BBB as well as their CC companies. Another avenue I will likely pursue should I not get my grille shipped by the 3rd is to contact Yahoo who they use to process their sales. I suspect Yahoo may frown on their business partners using their business service in this manner.

FWIW, here is the link to file a complain with Yahoo! Shopping who West Coast Performance Parts uses for online sales. Maybe they can put pressure on these folks to start taking care of business. It isn't easy setting up new store fronts and I suspect they may take a warning from Yahoo a bit serious.

http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/shop/cgi_merchant

What a shame we have to do this crap. All they had to do was communicate a little and be honest with their customers...
I just sent my complaint to Yahoo Shopping. I gave the details and asked that they please get rid of this no good merchant before others have to experience what we have.

I have sent several more e-mails asking for my credit to be issued with no response. Guess I will have to wait for my credit card company to obtain the credit.

A terrible thought I had - think it is possible that WCP Parts got into some serious money problems and that is why no one seems to getting a credit issued?

Even if WCP is in Financial Dire staits, if you dispute the charge, (at least with American Express) the cc company will contact the merchant to get his side and issue you a credit. They can do a charge back to WCP and get their money that way. The cc company is supposed to protect your interest. This is what happens with AX, I guess it works the same with Visa, MC, and Discover.

I used a Visa card and feel certain I will eventually get the credit. The lady with the Dispute Charge Department asked me questions to get dates and details. I asked if they would be contacting WCP and told her that WCP was basically nonresponsive. She said they do not contact the merchant. That once they get the dispute form back they have the authorization to go to the bank that processed the charge and get the money back. Then my account would be credited.

Also, I think there are some Federal laws for things like this and, as you said, the credit card companies act in the interest of their customer.

I encourage any one who has ordered from WCP and not recieved their order or a credit to contact their credit card company. Something just isn't right when a company has a fantastic product that is getting a lot of good publicity from customers and then suddenly stops shipping, has no communication with customers (except for lies) and does not issue credits.

Well, after being told that it would ship "next week" and not recieving my order, followed by two emails and no response. I went to the bank and disputed the charge as well yesterday. I should recieve my credit within 10 days. So, now, I will add my voice to those saying DO NOT do business with westcoastperformanceparts.com as what the others are saying about being charged and no product being recieved, and a lack of communication is true. Its unfortunate as I was hoping to recieve this product, but oh well, there are a few more options out there....

FireStriker, be sure to let us know here at the forums if you go another route. I'm looking for a GT grill solution myself on my V6.

Are you aware of this GT grille kit? Sounds like it might be pretty good.

Yeah, I saw that kit on ebay. I have not decided weither to go that route or to purchase a bumpercover/grill combo from Casco Tech on ebay ($350), and then purchase the wiring kit from Street Scene ($75) and go that route.. I am leaning towards just getting the new bumpercover and grill combo even though it would be a bit more expensive. I'll make a move either way in the next week and post how it goes etc...

Be sure to get a quote on shipping before you make the purchase. When I was looking into doing dual exhaust I was told the shipping cost for the GT rear bumper cover from Michigan to Georgia would be $149.
