Can anyone tell me the tools I'll need to complete the FRPP V6 Muffler install and/or where I can find the directions(if any) that lists the tools and specifications need to install this product. Thanks!
Whether it's a V6 or a GT, mufflers are pretty much mufflers. I installed my JBAs with a pair of jack stands, a wratchet and sockets, and a wrench. That was it. You'll just have half the work unless you are adding the duals to the car. I needed a 15 mm and 9/16 sockets/wrench for the GT, don't know if the V6 model has different bolt sizes or not.
Didn't they come with directions? It should have. But it should be pretty straight forward - unbolt the old one (you may need to loosen the mid-pipe at the cat to allow some wiggle in getting the old one off), bolt on the new one. On the GT there was a notch in the end of the mid pipe where it connects to the muffler and that needed to be aligned properly.
Good luck.

It wont be in my hands till Thursday and I want to have all the tools I need before hand. I dont want to be playing with a hot muffler after running out to the store and buying tools that day
Ah, got it - well, I can't imagine anything wildly different on the V6 that would require anything other than the garden variety of tools I mentioned. The sizes may or may not differ, but as long as you have those tools you should be set.
The instructions with mine said it should take an hour to do - it took me an hour for the driver's side and then 20 minutes for the passenger side one. The driver's side one was really stuck on there and it gave me a good biceps & lat workout busting the thing loose finally.
Enjoy!

Well - get yourself a good set of sockets and a wratchet (or two) and at least a set of wrenches. The car is metric but the bolts of some of the new parts are standard so you might as well buy a complete set with both types and it should cover your bases.
And don't forget the jack stands or ramps. You could just leave the car on the wheels to reach the mufflers but you won't have much room to move around or get much leverage - I'm a small guy and I can barely get under the car without putting it on the stands.

When I did mine I used 13mm and 15mm box end wrenches with the ratcheting mechanism. It was too tight for conventional sockets. Since then I have used the same set of wrenches to install the Hurst shifter and remove the stock airbox. I don't know what I did before I bought them. They are handy and compact. I keep them in the trunk. They cost like $50 for a nine piece set. I highly recommend getting some.

oh man - those are definitely worth the money - I love 'em!!! I had to get passed the price but then did the "how did I work without them" after using them. Although I have a few different ratchets - one of which has the moveable head so it helps getting around some tight spots as well.
And yes, I forgot about the 13 mm as well.

So, so far all I need is 13 and 15mm sockets/wrenches, what about for the clamp, does it have to be torqued to a specific ft, lb or is it just till it doesnt leak?
just until it doesn't leak - there are no torque specs for the muffler clamps.
Check your instructions to see if the new clamp has a different size, although since it is a Ford product you would think they would make it the same as the car, but you never know.

Well just finished the install, it does have a torque spec of 32-35 ft/lbs but I didnt bother, I checked for leaks and there were none. Sounds great. The instructions stated to move the over axle pipe but me and a friend decided not to, due to not having a lift available. was alittle ruff at times removing some of the bolts and getting the muffler off but we managed. It sounds great and is a hell of alot lighter then stock. Managed not to break the skin on anything too! I'll have pics up in my gallery soon and tomorrow I'll probably get some sound clips too. Thanks for your help!
