Default Duck Tail Spoilers!

I own a 2005 Mustang and am looking to get a duck tail spoiler. I am confused when it comes to choosing between

https://www.cervinis.com/product.aspx?car=1&id=1160#]cervinis

http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catalog/itemdisplay/645.html]classicdesignconcepts

or

If anyone has prior experience or has installed one please help!

I'm having the one from SSE installed. I didn't like the idea of the one from CDC covering up the 3rd brake light. The cost to get it painted and mounted will shock you. Mine has been in the shop for almost two weeks. The body shop is having a time getting the pits out of the paint. I can't fault the owner for wanting to get it right, but I'm ready to get my car back.

How much is it costing you about to get it painted and all that?

[i]Im about 99 percent sure I'm going to go with the CDC spoiler but i was wondering how hard the installation was and how much paint and everything ended up costing. Also I would like to know whether any problems such as drilling or anything of that sort may have caused problems such as leaking or rust.

Default Cervini Ducktail

Hello, Forum.

Just bought a 2006 GT, and I really like the Cervini Ducktail. Unfortunately, it has the factory wing on the back.

Nobody has discussed whether the Cervini covers up the stock holes- does anybody know if the holes have to filled?????

Thanks!

Thanks Poco, I'm really happy with the results. The body shop did a great job. They had to sand and spray several times to get all the little pits out. I think the lady that quoted the job under bidded by a couple of hundred. At least the owner insured a good job and stood by the quote.

From what I've read on various forums, the Cervini ducktail will cover the factory holes.

Hey, guys/dolls, I have installed on my car a Lgends ducktail that utilizes the factory holes. It is a one piece spoiler that bolts to the trunk lid using the factory holes. The spoiler itself costs about $300, my body shop charged me $300 to prep, paint, and install (although I think it can be done cheaper). Anywyas, just my $.02.

I got the CDC Ducktail. It cost me $450 to get my holes filled and decklid repainted. Here's some pics.
