Default 05' mustang smell

I currently drive an 05 v6 mustang stock except for dual exhaust with y pipe it has 3200 miles on it and its about a year old. Today I was pushing my car to see what she has, I would shift at around 4-4500 rpms and when I would do that I noticed a weird smell would come out, dont know from where though but its just a weird smell. Its hard to describe the smell but I was just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has experienced this smell? and its not the first time its happened.
Thanks in advance

Uhhh, sounds like clutch. You are bound to slip it a bit with every shift, but maybe you are easing it in too much and it's burning a bit to create that smell.
