I couldn't tell you for sure but I helped a buddy install a set of MAC ceramic shorties and it took about 1 1/2 hours to finish the job.The fitment was excellent and workmanship is great,I took a straight edge to the flanges and they were true. He could feel better throttle responce out of the hole.He is adding a true dual exhaust and that should open it up even more.Poco

The JBAs are 50 state smog legal, don't know about the MACs. (could be an important point if your state has emissions inspection)

LT HP gains are going to be higher than shorties. Though probably not as significant on a V-6. On the GT, LTs gain substantially more HP and TQ than shorties. I've run both. MAC shorties gave me about 7+/- rwhp and the LTs around 20.

The MAC shorties I tried to install in my car wouldn't fit at all. The pipes didn't match up at all.

I installed the MAC shorties saturday, took about 4 hours. they were tough to get lined up. I had the car on jack stands and put the floor jack under the CAT to rais it on the pass side so it would like up. I also have the JBA true duals with h pipe on. The mac shorties also do not have bosses to relocate the ignition bracket so it has to be ground off where it bolts to the head.
