Default Basic info for new Mustang?

Hey all,
Ordered an '07 V6 stang, should be ready in about 1-2 months straight off the assembly line. As this will be my first mustang I was curious about some of the little things. I'm not planning on doing any mods early on, but eventually will upgrade to some of the basics: CAI, exhaust, etc. For now though I've heard '87 octane is the recomended gas, but what about the other fluids? Do stangs prefer regular or synth oil? Is there anything in particular I should know or pay particular attention to about initial engine break-in (speeds, shifting, etc.)? FYI it is a manual. Any thoughts / responses would be apreciated. Thank you

Well just to break it in right. I was brought up knowing that there should never be a lot of pressure on the engine for the first 1000 miles. By pressure i mean dont take the rev to redline, usually under 4000 is ideal. Pretty much everything else just falls into place after that. Then take it out and take it to the limits.

At first I noticed my stick shift was kinda sticky but after a 1600 mile break in trip it the shifter was a lot smoother after that.
