the t-5 is a weak tranny. when my 07 had 16,000 miles on it i shattered 3rd gear. the dealer said car had been abused and would not cover it under warrenty. it cost me $3600. as soon as my warrenty expires im sending it to astra performance to replace those weak gears.

Ouch. I think I would have done the gear upgrade before plunking $3600 into an OEM repair. But I know the situation when the car is put in the repair shop and they have it torn apart and then tell you the news.
