Alright, I have seen a few people bring up that they are hearing a noise at idle, like some kind of bearing noise. But it seems like most people talking about this are saying that it is occuring with the manual tranny. Well I have the automatic and have also been noticing the sound. It seemed that the concensus was that this noise is normal (at least for the manual, due to constant spinning parts or whatever). But should i be hearing it in my automatic. It doesn't seem to do it all the time (only if I'm stopped for more than a few seconds), and when I shift to neutral it goes away (I usually put it in neutral everytime I'm going to be stopped for a while i.e. traffic light). I've been holding off on asking this question in fear of something being wrong, but I better get it figured out befor my warranty runs out. Also, anyone else been noticing trouble at the gas station as far as the pump cutting off when the tank is nowhere near full.....it only seems to happen at certain gas stations around where I live?

I've noticed most people complaining are coming from FWD vehicles, and aren't used to having a tranny a couple of inches from their right leg.
When the tranny is a couple of feet removed, isolated by the suspension, and under the engine you won't hear a lot of tranny noise, when it's mounted right next to your body -you're going to hear it.
Same goes for exhaust -they're used to cast iron exhaust manifolds, tubular manifolds allow more noise from the gasoline explosion to escape.

As far as your gas tank problem, I have the same thing. I am taking my car in on friday for service and they are gonna check if there is a problem. I was talking to the service guy who knows about the mustangs, and he told me that he has heard about this and was saying because the new style Mustang was modeled after the 67-68 cars, the filler neck on the car is very straight and if the station you go to has a high flowing pump (the gas flows fast) then it may cut out. I have a 1967 coupe and it does that on mine also. I usually go to 76 stations cuz their gas pumps are slow and I have been ok their. Hope this helps. Other than that I would call your dealer to see if they say something similar.

I have a 2006 GT and have only experienced a fill up problem once at a BP Station- My Cadillac also had this problem at the station-The nozzle can't be put in too deep-Second part-I do have the light valve knock in a hot engine at idle due to the Variable Cam Timing- I have 1500 miles on the car and it has been like this since day one-The dealer listened to it and I need to put a few more miles on it before I let anyone get into the engine to fix.
