Default $1000-$1500 to spend - what to do?

I have a 2006 V6 Mustang, with the Pony Package installed, and I've gotten some money that I've earmarked to doing some work on the Mustang - the problem is, I have no real idea what to do! I was thinking to get some visual work done, p erhaps a new bumper or something, and some mods to make it run a bit better, but I'm a total blank. Ideas?

Intake and tuner (together) are a good start for $550-$650. Gears (3.73 or 4.10) will cost your $400-$600 (parts and labor).

Axle back, tuner and Cai and then make it look pretty and you'll be all set!

You should be able to get the CAI with tuner, gears as mentioned above, but you might want to try an MRT single-axle back muffler too. John claims he got 17 HP over stock with just the muffler change and he has the dyno results to support it. Check his web site, look under "Loud? I Like Loud!".

http://www.tammyandjohn.com/Mustang/...ng/Mustang.htm

If you have the funds, you might want to start by getting dyno'd so you have a base-line on your car, then add the muffler, dyno again, the the CAI and tune, dyno again, the the gears and dyno again. This will give you a really good indication of exactly how your modifications are affecting your car and let you compare future mods. Also do a photo and video journal on the mods, installations and dyno runs. You'll enjoy having the documentation later on.
