Is anyone using a Western motorsports cold air intake?

Some are and they like it, especially with the "ram-air" option. Do a search on here, try the full name and / or WMS.

I am myself not a believer as it cannot get 'smooth' air in that location.

The best intakes (at least for the GT) are C&L, JLT, and Ti.

Best bang for the buck is;

Well... it won't fit on my car (Vortech blown...)

And I don't think it's better than your C&L...??

I would always go none metal, as in Tunable Induction... but that's me...

On my tune, the C&L was causing MAF voltage irregularities which my tuner attributed to two things: (1) the two piece C&L construction and (2) the MAF housing being a larger diameter than the intake tube. We'll see how the powerhouse performs.
