I LOVE my 05 Mustang (6 cylinder) - but i'm also stupid. I was pulling out of Sonic (drive in restaurant) and hooked my driver side quarter panel and lower front bumper on some plastic thing sticking out of the intercom pole where you order. My bumper has paint scraped off and the quarter panel has about a 10 inch crease. It doesn't impact the wheel and I don't see any impact to the car's performance but its ugly. Any idea what it would cost if I went the whole route and had a new quarter panel and bumper put on?
Thanks Man. I really appreciate the help. btw: am i just being double-stupid, is there a better option than replacing it? and/or are there problems other than the cost with replacing the parts? Thanks again.
one option would be to claim that the sonic pole jumped out infront of you and did this to your car. Then I think you would be involved in a counter suit..so dont do that
ya know i see ads for sonic on tv all the time, but i really don't think there's a sonic within 300 miles of my town... maybe they should start In-N-Out ads in Alabama lol
as for the bumper and quarter panel, just replace it. if it's more than just minor cosmetic damage any other solution would like really bad...

My $.02...based on a couple of very small scratches and my attempt to repaint...the touch-up paint, even the Motorcraft brand you can get directly from a Ford parts place which you'd think would be exactly the same color...isn't...the hue and tint wind up looking different enough to notice. If you are aiming for perfection/return to original state, go the parts replacement route...
Good luck!
