I LOVE my 05 Mustang (6 cylinder) - but i'm also stupid. I was pulling out of Sonic (drive in restaurant) and hooked my driver side quarter panel and lower front bumper on some plastic thing sticking out of the intercom pole where you order. My bumper has paint scraped off and the quarter panel has about a 10 inch crease. It doesn't impact the wheel and I don't see any impact to the car's performance but its ugly. Any idea what it would cost if I went the whole route and had a new quarter panel and bumper put on?

As for the bumper, if you wish to replace the whole thing, here is a site that sells genuine Ford parts for wholesale prices.

Here are prices for quarter panel's also.

one option would be to claim that the sonic pole jumped out infront of you and did this to your car. Then I think you would be involved in a counter suit..so dont do that

ya know i see ads for sonic on tv all the time, but i really don't think there's a sonic within 300 miles of my town... maybe they should start In-N-Out ads in Alabama lol

as for the bumper and quarter panel, just replace it. if it's more than just minor cosmetic damage any other solution would like really bad...

Same here in Michigan...I see the Sonic ads all the time, but don't know of a Sonic around here.

But I know there's another restaurant that had a pesky, 3 1/2 foot-high trash dumpster that "jumped out" at my front fender last July 4th.

Had the white pony in the shop 36 hours later, and all back to normal in less than a week.

My $.02...based on a couple of very small scratches and my attempt to repaint...the touch-up paint, even the Motorcraft brand you can get directly from a Ford parts place which you'd think would be exactly the same color...isn't...the hue and tint wind up looking different enough to notice. If you are aiming for perfection/return to original state, go the parts replacement route...

Good luck!

My wife always craves their food when she is preggers, like right now. I really HATE their food. Some of their beverages are OK though.
