Default 2007 1/4 mile times...

Hey,
I bought an '07 with a stick last august, i know that stock there suppost to run 15.3 with an auto, 15.0 with a stick.. Ive added:

Flowmaster american thunder axle back
MMR throttle body spacer
S&B intake

Shifting the car right i got my 0-60 to 5.9 seconds on the G-tech meter instead of 6.6, so i was thinking i might pull around 14.3-14.5 at the track, has anyone done similar mods and done this or am i out of my range?

Thanks!
Doug

That might be a reach unless you've also had it custom tuned.

S&B's require a tune. You are more than likely running lean.

Not even close... you would probably do mid to high 14's... 13's take a power adder and 12's take a power adder and other upgrades...

And with a 99 GT it's going to be a drivers race at best....

Now take your wed. car to the track and post some timeslips... everything else is just BS...

If you live near a track, why not go to a test and tune and really find out! You'll have blast! LOL

Absolutely... The difficulty may be in finding someone who can tune for the S&B. You would likely need a dyno tune or change to a CAI that the mailorder tuners use.

Oh, i understand... even with a benefit of the doubt I would still say mid-14's... maybe... this is of course assuming his driving skill are better than his grammar and typing skills... (sorry, i normally don't comment on grammar or typing.. but that was by far the worst i've ever seen... LOL)

Thanks for the input, i was planning on going down to the track this weekend. But i might not be able to because its still about 30-40 degrees up here, the track might not open on saturday like it was supposed to... Any tips would be great, i had an 88 monte ss that i had doing 15.1 with a 305 with just headers, and true duals, but that was an auto car. This will be my 1st time down the track with a stick.. Ill keep everyone up to date on what i run and ill scan my time slips for everyone to see..
