Default 2006 V6 Mustang and nitrous

How hard would nitrous be on a v-6, something in the 25-50 HP range?

I would think a 50 shot would not be too hard on it... As long as it is set up and tuned correctly....

the only problem is that you can't find a nitrous kit for the v6 that only has a 25-50 shot. the other problem is finding somebody to tune it for you that will tune and do it right so that when the nitrous hits the motor doesn't blow. cause if the nitrous detinates it's over.

Anyone that's run nitrous on the V6 will tell you 75 shot is fine with the stock tune. However, it's always reccommended to have the car dyno tuned with any power adder. If your going to use a power adder you should also consider trac-lok, true-trac, etc to get the extra power to both wheels.

agreed.. you can run a 75 shot pretty safely... but would definitely get it on the dyno to double check things...

Also make sure you add a window switch... that was my mistake...

While the Zex kit's lowest jets are for 75 you can buy smaller jets if you so desire... Zex does sell 50HP jets (or was it 35... ) LOL

I think the zex nitrous kit for the 05-07 mustang gt is the only kit that will work on the newer mustangs because you have to have a special fuel rail adapter that comes with the zex kit to tap into the fuel rail. if you look at the zex kit you will and adapter that lookes like the piece that's on your fuel rail on the driver side of the engine.
