I got 'em both but was wondering what is the better tune for commuting-i.e. lots of shifting with the 5 speed. Seems like I get better mileage with the torque tune and for off line perf -LAUNCHING and 0-60 time -is there a noticable difference or is the race tune designed more for top end speeds?

The race tune gives you more in the upper RPM ranges while the torque tune is better up to 2500 or so. On a GT I didn't notice much difference in mileage.
