Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I searched for this and couldn't find anything. At random times, the blower turns on. Sometimes it turns off by itself, but usually I have to jiggle the knob to get it to turn off. It seems like it does it almost half of the times I start my car up, but will also do it while I am driving. It actually did it twice today when I took it to the dealer to get my radio looked at. The dealer said that it is normal, but when I have it turned off, I expect it to stay off...anyone else have this problem?

They're smoking crack... It is absolutely NOT normal for the A/C to turn on when the switch is set to off.
Yea..I think I'm going back to the dealer next Thursday..they also said today that theres nothing wrong with the radio (skips, ejects cd's, etc). I forgot to look for TSB's before I went, but found it on the s197 defects page here after I got home..I think they're replacing it next week, so I'll ask about it again when I go.

Nothing is normal about a switch turned "off" that turns on.
If the car is not haunted, the switch is bad (and so, likely, is the mechanic/dealer who said it was normal... )

Anything you have to jiggle to get to work correctly (save from certain entertainers... ) is broken. The switch is bad or shorted, and needs replacement or rewiring.
