Default 2005 Mustang V6 Going To Install A T-Lok, Looking For Assistance

so I got my t-lok in the mail last week and got all the bearings to install it but i need to know something will I need any shims to get the gear pattern right and where can I get the shims from thanks. also whats a good air/fuel ratio gauge to use that doesn't cost a fortune. thanks

i don't know much about rear ends but what i do know is that the gear mesh has to just right and more than likely if your luck is like mine you'll be buying a shim kit. as far as where to get them cj pony parts sells 8.8 diff. bearing shims 1-800-888-6473 8am-8pm eastern time

are the shims for the 8.8 the same as the shims for the 7.5?

i'm sorry no there not. the 7.5 diff has a different set of shims. give them a call i'm sure they have what you need.

well I found the right ring gear bolts that i need on summit racing and then pulled up a shim set for the 7.5 and it said that it would work on the ford 7.5 and the gm 7.5 so I ordered them so they should work I hope. so now all I need is some gear oil and the friction additive. and I will be good to go.

AEM wideband (comes with a Bosch wideband sensor and requires welding an additional bung on the exhaust before the cat)
about $250 on fleabay.

thanks for the help guys. i think that I will see if I can get some of the royal purple gear oil and then I think that I will swith from the s&b cai to the steeda cai that my predator has a tune for then i will know that my car is running right. i will post some pics of my car for you to see.
