Is your tranny loud?

Hey guys,

I noticed that my transmission gets loud and kind of clunky at low speeds... especially with the A/C on. Is this normal? It did this before the shifter install and I double-checked the shifter. I'll probably have the tranny looked at when it goes in for servicing. When in neutral and my foot is off the clutch, it sometimes kind of clunks while sitting there. Is it the driveshaft?

I'm not sure about the tranny but my AC makes a clunking noise also abou every 10 seconds or so when its on. I'm pretty sure that happens on all the S197s but I might be wrong. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

that clunking noise might be from the compressor engaging on an off but if it engaging on and off every 10 seconds, you might want to have your A/C system checked out. you might have a leak in the system and a low charge
