curious question on the v6 rearend

I think I know the answer already, ford doesn't change a lot, and they haven't mention it any upgrade.

I just bought a v6 premium pony package and I was wondering if they added a t-lok or up the gear ratio for the 17" rims?

aaah wishful thinking I guess than haha.

oh well maybe I'll take care of the myself down the line.
Are there any kits for a t lok on the 05+ v6?

Or will that destroy total efficiency in the car still.

I have the 06 Pony Package and same size rims(17'). I just installed the Tloc and 3:73 gears. Very Happy with the results. You should get the Kit when putting the new stuff in. Bearings are relatively cheap and you dont know what shape the old ones will be in trying to remove them. You also need the pint of T loc lube that should come with the diff.

Definitely need a new master bearing/install kit. Probably best to do the ring and pinion at the same time since you're changing carriers.
