Default GT premium wheels on 2005 Mustang V6

I've got the butt ugly 16" stock wheels on my car now. I'd like to buy the GT premium 17x8 5 split spoke aluminum wheels w/ tires from newtakeoff.com. Only $800.00 for both wheels and tires. I don't want to go any larger because I drive a lot of miles (60,000-90,000) a year and the 18" and larger tires cost an arm and a leg for 2-4 sets a yr.

My question is: Are they a direct bolt on for the v6 or is the backspacing a little different on the GT?

Bolt them on and go.... they will fit fine

Check eBay for more deals. I bought mine for $570 inc. shipping then sold the near new originals for $150.

Thanks for all your help. I wasn't sure because the rotors on the GT are larger and didn't know if Ford had done anything different.

Also, from Ford Racing they sell kits that have something to do with the steering when you go to larger size wheels. One kit for the 16 to 17 swap and another for the 17 to 18 swap. Are they necessary and what the heck do they do?
