i bought my mustang in february brand new...the shaker1000 it had in it sounded awesome..for 2 months...since then you can hear it rattle like crazy and when you get in the trunk...the right(closest to you) sub sounds like abesolute crap...it slapps and sounds like its got a bolt or sumtihn its hitting...really sounds extrodinarily bad...i actually have a few blankets up against it right now to muffle the sound a little, but the other one sounds fine, along with all of my speakers...after i took it apart myself finding nuthin wrong that i could see...i took it to ford seeing as i have it under warranty and they said they ran a systems check and nothing is wrong with it...well i figured out your systems check is simply run through your dash buttons...sounds to me like the guys at my dealer r pretty effin lazy...anyone else have this problem with their systems? any suggestions?

I have the shaker 1000 system also and have not had any trouble, yet. Only had it about two months, but as of right now it is still sounding fine. It does sound like the dealer guys kinda blew you off, you may stop by an audio shop and see if they would give you a diagnosis at least then you would know whether or not to question the dealer to get it covered under warranty.

actually im gettin the front stripes on my bumper fixd from being vandalized( haters ) and theyre covering that also... when i take it back to the dealer to let em see the finishd work ill have the owner himself take a look...but id still like to hear some more opinions or other occurances

I've had mine since Jan. and 13000 miles.Still sounds great with no problems.Agree that you should take it to an independant shop to check out.Good luck.

nice car kruzz..i got the same color scheme, only mines a 6 yea im headin up to muncie this weekend, ill have great sounds take a look
