Default 2006 Mustang V6 Should I Get Gears And Posi?

I have 2006 v6 mustang with headers, cnl intake, flowmaster muffler, sct tune, and hurst short shifter and was wondering should I get 3.73 gears and posi...is it worth it...will I feel a major difference? As well is chirping your tires in second gear bad for your rear end of the car? And I have throttle body spacers and my car shop said don't put them on because they don't help the perfromance...is this true?

Hiya and welcome. Glad you joined us.
You'll definately feel a gear change. Well worth the money and if you're wanting a better posi unit, this would be the time to do it. Chirping the tires isn't that rough on the rear end as long as things are already in good shape.

Ask me why I ran "only" a 13.54.

i was also wondering about the throttle body spacer. has anyone that put in 3.73 had a noticable mpg change/ high rpms on the highway? or is that mostly just with 4.10 gears

Yes, I kept the stock gears because I do 90% highway driving and need to keep my MPG high.

You will love the T-LOK

A little extra wear-and-tear... it's fun.
TB spacers I hear are useless, but they don't hurt performance either way.
