Just put mellotone duals on my v6 they sound great! as close to a gt as i've heard a 6 sound. At first they had a bad interior "drone" (buzz), but went back and had the guy put glasspacks between the cats and mufflers and it sounds great, also opened it up a bit performance wise.

Theres still some vibration in the passenger side but I think it's against some metal or something.

Whole true dual system with h-pype, 2 glasspacks, 2 mellotone mufflers, and 2, 2 1/2" rolled chrome tips installed cost me $370 which is really cheap compared to flowmasters or magnaflows.

Also if you want to go duals but don't want to buy a gt bumper you can notch yours, I carried mine to the local community college auto body shop and they did it for $10.

Hope this helps

The Single vs Dual question will pop up.

ANY other muffler than the stock one is a HUGE improvement!!

You will get better mileage, faster accelleration and quicker response.

AND it will sound MUCH better.

Going duals is the final choice in a little extra sound, mid-top end performance and awesome good looks!

Here's a quick vid from the beginning of our Club's Mustang Cruise.

My car and the red vert are V6s with duals (I have the Pypes Street Pros & Torch_Vert has the Corsas).
