Question 2006 V6 Mustang Muffler. MRT Aero Turbine or MRT MaxThunder?

I've decided to stay with a single axle back for now.

I have heard the the new MaxThunder muffler has a deeper, more pleasing to the ears tone; while the aero turbine has a high buzz pitch past 3300 rpms.

my question is:

1)does the deeper tone on MaxThunder mean less performance than the aero turbine?

2)does anyone have dyno results/experience on aero tubine single vs. maxthunder single?

Both will probably be similar in performance.

You are buying the sound.

I don't like the aero tubine myself... sound is wrong for a Mustang.

Haven't heard the MaxThunder muffler but it must be better if it is deeper sounding.

it is, i have heard a few sound clips and i love the maxthunder sound

but i dont want to buy the mrt quality for $225 plus shipping if the Maxthunder has just the same performance and any other non-aerotubine muffler

Default MaxThunder?

Hey dab1990, where are you getting the max thunder muffler from? And what part/model number is it? And if you already have it on does it sound good?

+1 on Borlas, they are the most expensive but have the best sound.
As for the hp gain, all aftermarket mufflers will give you same hp #s its just the sound that you have to choose from and how the mufflers look on your car.
