it just depends if you want to go faster or want to beef up the looks.
i have the steeda cai and its nice but from the threads on this site it seems that most people have said the JLT cai + xcal 2 is the most power gain for the $
i think there is a combo for that on BamaChips Tuning

and about the exhaust...there are a ton of threads on here that discuss that so just type in what you want to know in the search at the top right corner

should i do this and the dual exhaust w/ body mods as well???
I just got a MAC dual exhaust system along with a C&L CAI kit and A Diablo predator tuner. It was about a grand, but I noticed one hellova' difference. These are some of the cheapest mods you can get. I chose the MAC exhaust after alot of research. The other good system is flowmaster.

dual ehaust wont will not give any more hp that a single axleback unless you are running F/I. as in a supercharger or turbo.
also. there are singles that give alot better sound over stock but if you still want the most rumble you can get from a v6 then go for the duals

and unless the JBA kit comes with an H-pipe you will have to get one custom made at a shop.

it does look at it. theres the y pipe and the h pipe and from all this dual exhaust threads that ive read i think the h pipe is the way to go, but i could b wrong. another question has any one put those luminex things on the lights instead of the covers i showed b4, b/c i was driving behind one yesterday and theyre way to dark to see the brake lights wen pushed.

For all the people that say an h-pipe shows no gains, that is completely false. I raced my friends bmw Z4 when I was stock and took it all the way up to the top of third gear. When I got the big 20 inch rims on there, we raced again. This time he started gaining th elead early into second. After I got my dual american thunder mufflers put on with the h-pipe, we raced again. This I performed the same accomplishment as I did stock. Hmmm I wonder if I take off those rims how quick it will be?

Anyway, go with the h. Its an amazing sound. Personally, if you are looking for the rumble, go with the Flowmaster American Thunders. If you would like to see the first video I ever took let me know.

i got an h pipe and flows, (dual exh) i immediately felt the difference, please whatever you do, don't put GT emblems on the back and sides of your V6 be proud of what you got, besides i think the pony emblem looks way better and it just looks funny cus you could totally tell it's a V6, i was out cruising on the street and some older guy thought i had the new mach 1, and another import guy thought i had a shelby, you could do so much with the new mustangs don't ruin it by putting emblems that isn't. six banger pride,.

dont worry i changed my mind about that since i saw those 4.0 emblems and on top of that since i took my friends GT, but that was thanks to my wonderful driving skills.

I would go with a good CAI and I personally like the SCT tuner. Next I would do a T-Loc and 3.73 gears and finally a hgher stall Torque converter to compliment the gears. The stock stall converter is only about 1500rpm I am looking for something in the 2800-3000 stall range. I you ever look at a dyno on an Auto v6, that is the peak of the power band.

send a PM to SOHCman he has a nice dual setup that i was considering

well i dont have duals yet so i cant tell you what i got BUT even if you already know this...look for complete stainless steel kits because some brands sell auminized steel which will rust much fast than stainless

oh and ive heard you should always call and order instead of just ordering online that way you can talk to someone about exactly what your getting
