if youve got the money, go with the sct livewire...i have one and its nothing short of amazing, the windwhield mount is nice, and its fun to have when your shift light lights up the cab and your oposing camaro or rice burner is staring at it through your rear window, adds a nice touch to their a$$ whoopin...haha and i just got gt rocker mouldings from new take offs...really nice and easy mod....im goin with the fang chin spoiler soon too. and if youre lookin for power gains, make sure you have a tuner and look into de molet CAI's. really nice systems, claims to have most hp/tq gains too...good luck

now the only thing that is bothering me is that sct livewire tuner. i think thats very aesthetically pleasing but does it do the same thing as an xcalibrator does and if in the future i decide to put a turbo or a supercharger in it, i have to re-tune it right? does it come w/ presets like the xcalibrator b/c i kno no1 who knos how to tune.

no you dont need any boost to run duals. sorry if thats what it sounded like i said in the begining of the thread.

I meant that having F/I with duals will have the most benifit performance wise.

oops i though you were talking about duals still. and you dont need boost for livewire either.

after you buy the tuner(usually with 3 tunes already in it) you can order custom tunes for $75 through an e-mail if you make any major mods like a F/I setup afterwards.

the live wire is the basically the same program as the xcal2 but with all the bells and whistles. you dont need to be blown or boosted to run it, but it has the options you need to run it. it comes designed from SCT for your car, and has options ranging from small user adjustments like idle and tcs or top speed govenor to what CAI youre running, from 87 to 93 oct tunes to even any boost if you have it. I put it on my stock 06 automatic stang before anything else, and it doesnt turn into a firebreathing v8 eater, but it really does give you the power and performance you need to start off if youre looking into other performance upgrades. You can even go in and modify your "pids" which are your monitors windows, ranging from engine temp to rpms and speed. The livewire also allows you to run an estimated 0-60, 1/4 mi, and peak HP/tq. You can also customize the monitors led lights, such as turning your(orange) shift light on or off and your (blue) power button on or off. Tuning is a breeze, and i have had no problems what so ever if i ever have to return to stock for reprogramming(like if you want to keep warranty and it needs work done at the dealership, just "return to stock.") The factory tune is nice, but i recomend something more extreme, from bama chips for example. I kinda ordered my programmer on my heels of not knowing what I was getting into, but blew the money anyways and I havent lookd back since. hope this is help to some of your previous questions.

The diablo is good also, it all just kinda depends on your intentions, im planning on supercharging so i want to see my boost without running any guages or guage pods, i like to keep things simple, the programmer is the live wire itself, it programs your cars ecu for better, more efficient performance, giving you power and saving mpg, i actually got about 2mpg city and 4 highway runing 93oct tune. The new 05+ 4.0 engines have alot of potential, but you need some kinda of programmer to unlock it. If you want something to look at while your driving, and if you want to turn heads of other cars that see the blue glow inside your car, and the orange shift light light up when you rev out, then the livewire is the best. So far its the most advanced sct has to offer. happy to answer anymore questions you may have.
